today a friend celebrates her eighth wedding anniversary. when asked how it feels to be eight years married, she replied with "it feels like we just got married 2 weeks ago!", a response that clearly indicates their "honeymoon phase" has not waned. she is happy- elated even- and wouldn't trade anything to be newlyweds. daniel and I have been very happy as newlyweds and had a very fun year, when we'rere eight years married, I too want us to not want to go back to the way we are today.
