oh joy! a sale

I’ve been eyeing Nantaka Joy and intending to buy something for the longest time… when I found out about the buy-one-get-one-free-sale, I was beyond excited. without thinking twice or reading the sale postcript, I added two of my favourite notebooks into a shopping cart. at checkout, I discovered there is no option for shipping to Canada. not letting that stop me, I emailed Joy right away. there was an extremely quick response, but to my dismay, that was when I learned that there is “no international shipping for this special sale”. boo darn it... but Joy was kind enough to make an exception for this Canadian and soon I shall be scribbling away in this and this!! oh happy sigh.

shipping, let me tell you, is more costly than the notebook (oh yes, something I accidentally— honest!— forgot to mention to you, dear husband); so the cost of the two notebooks + shipping = two books at regular price + shipping to an American address. sometimes I wish I lived in the states.

I should have also bought this set of agate grey cards- one cannot have enough stationary!
