monique lhuillier has to be one of my most favourite designers! she creates absolutely elegant and glamorous clothing. even her ready-to-wear collections are so red carpet worthy. her fall 2006 collection is no exception. I love the rich colours, the brocade and the up swept dos. and I don't care if it's yet another sixties inspired collection; it's so pretty!
same to be said about her fall 2006 bridal collection. I decided three summers ago that I wanted a lace wedding dress; after seeing monique lhuillier's lace wedding dresses, I decided that I want a lace wedding dress by monique lhuiller.
however, despite how much I love her and her clothing, her spring 2007 bridal collection is kinda hideous. okay, not kinda. very.
